a. Types of Awards
(1) Best Genre Award: first, second and third place for each “Genre” in each “Film Category”. See Film Categories and Genres.
(2) Best Contest Film: across all genres and film categories.
(3) Best Prop Award: presentation of an armadillo in the most imaginative way. Contestant may choose not to compete for this award.
(a) Best in each Film Category across all Genres.
(b) Best in Contest across all Film Categories.
(4). Pacesetter Award: is presented to the Contestant whose film sustains quality literary design, visual design, cinematography, editing, and sound design through its plot for the entire film length.
(5) NELSAC reserves the right to create additional or eliminate awards.
b. Winners Notified
(1) Following completion of the judge’s evaluation of eligible films, award winners will be posted online on a date to be announced.
(2) NELSAC may schedule a public award ceremony/party/screening.
